My journey with THE BROOKLYN GROUP began after an initial freelance opportunity that allowed me to quickly apply and expand my skills in social media management, email marketing, and digital content creation. This foundational experience led to a collaborative partnership to establish and launch a high-end cocktail bar in the city's vibrant tourist district. My role as a co-founder involved a comprehensive range of responsibilities, including the crucial initial steps of company formation and legal setup in Colombia, alongside managing financial aspects related to international investment.
Integral to the project's realization was the collaborative design and branding phase. I worked closely with partners to conceptualize and develop the complete aesthetic of the business, from the architectural layout and brand identity to the creation of visual renders and 3D models. Furthermore, I spearheaded the development of the company culture, brand guidelines, and supported all aspects of visual design, social media strategy, and photography, culminating in the successful recruitment and onboarding of a team aligned with our vision.
As General Manager, I oversaw all facets of operations, navigating the complexities of a new business and consistently exceeding customer expectations. This demanding role required rapid decision-making, efficient problem-solving, and a commitment to optimizing processes. My leadership approach focused on fostering a positive company culture, recognizing the value of each team member, and applying an empathetic yet professional approach to all challenges, ultimately driving the company's growth and positive reputation within its first year.
